Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant chaired the signing of the MoU between the Goa Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing Board (GAPLM) and GMR Airport Limited, Mopa, a significant step towards strengthening Goa’s agricultural export ecosystem.
HCM stated that through this partnership, a modern Pack House and agri-logistics facility will be developed at Manohar International Airport, Mopa, to support grading, packaging and export of Goan produce as per APEDA standards. He said that this will improve market access for farmers and traders, reduce post-harvest losses, and create new opportunities for agri-business.
HCM affirmed that this initiative reflects our Government’s commitment to empowering farmers, increasing their income and building a stronger agricultural value chain under the vision of Swayampurna Goa.
