The Goa Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing Board, has extended incentive “THE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE ARRIVAL INCENTIVE SCHEME” to the Producer/sellers of Coconut, Betelnut and Cashewnut under which each Producer of above Commodities shall be eligible for Cash Incentive as stated below. The Scheme was introduced since financial year 2007-08 and the same is extended every year:
Coconut: –
The Producer/seller is entitled to Rs.100/- per thousand nuts.
Incentive to be claimed is for a lot of 500 nuts and above.
Maximum incentive will be Rs. 2000/- per Producer.
Betelnut: –
The Producer/seller is entitled to 50 paise per kg. of Betelnut Incentive to be claimed is for a lot of 40 kg. and above.
Maximum incentive will be 2000/- per Producer.
Raw Cashewnuts: –
The Producer/seller is entitled to 25 paise per kg. of Raw Cashewnuts.
Incentive to be claimed is for minimum lot of 40 Kgs. for which Rs.15/- is to be given.
Maximum incentive will be Rs. 2000/- per Producer.
